MPLS
Redundancy
Graceful OSPF restart (RFC3623) and restart signaling for IS-IS (RFC3847) are not currently supported. In the event of an HSX 6000 switchover or failover, neighbor routers will timeout all OSPF and IS-IS adjacencies with the HSX 6000. These adjacencies will remain down until the HSX 6000 has completed its boot process and will be reformed later.
To protect and recover MPLS or RSVP-TE data forwarding capabilities, as well as the allocated labels used for established LSPs, the HSX 6000 supports LDP and RSVP graceful restarts. RSVP tunnels and LDP sessions are preserved over NCM, SFM, and USM fail overs.
