Senior System Test Engineer (NMS/EMS)

Job Objective
The successful candidate will join a seasoned SVT team to validate the carrier-grade EMS system for Hammerhead's HSX 6000 L2.5 switch. The job responsibilities include: develop a test verification framework to fully validate the EMS FCAPS functionalities; design and execute test cases to test functional and system-level features of the EMS system; work closely with EMS development teams to debug issues and validate the fixes; report test results and assessment on readiness for customer deployment.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in system verification of EMS/NMS for L2/L3 WAN system products; 

Ability to write comprehensive test plan to validate the carrier-class EMS system at both functional and system-levels

Familiarity to at least two of the following telecom protocols: TDM, ATM, Frame Relay, IP, and MPLS

Extensive experiences in lab equipment configuration and traffic generator/analyzer (AX4000 and N2X) 

Familiarity to system verification test methodology and process for carrier-grade telecommunications 

A self-motivated team player working effectively in time-critical, goal-oriented environment 

Education

Must have minimum of B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science

M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science preferred.
