Senior System Test Engineer

Job Objective
To be part of a world class team developing and executing the system verification plan, and validating the operation and performance of the system.

Job Requirements

Candidates will have 5+ years of Datacom/Telecom industry working experience in the System Verification role with a Carrier, a vendor providing carrier-grade equipment, or an equivalent class of product

Product verification experience in L2/L3 WAN systems, with a preference on experience with a carrier-class product

Product verification experience with WAN protocols, Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS, Ethernet

Product verification experience with PDH (DS3/E3/DS1/E1/DS0) and SONET/SDH physical interfaces

Verification experience with products operational aspects, Network Management, Command Line Interface, performance and capacity testing, stress testing, fault insertion

Must be able to work in a fast paced startup environment executing comprehensive testing on an aggressive timeline

Proficient in setting up and maintaining a verification lab

Experience gathering sufficient details to log reproducible anomalies

Develop, write and execute test plans with minimal input from designers

Development of test scripts with TCL, PERL or Silk Test for automation

Hands on experience with Datacom test sets such as the Adtech AX/4000

Must be a team player, easy to work with, hard working, and delivery-oriented

Education

Minimum of B.S in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science

M.S in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science preferred.
