Senior Software Engineer (NMS/EMS)

Job Objective
The EMS/NMS Engineer will implement EMS/NMS in a world-class engineering team. Candidate must be a highly motivated EMS/NMS engineer with a track record of product delivery, ideally in a start-up environment.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in the development of carrier-class EMS/NMS product with a proven record, preferably carrier-class L2/L3 WAN systems products;

Minimum 5 years developing object-oriented, multi-tiered applications using distributed object technologies (EJB/RMI/CORBA), preferably in J2EE environment, with emphasis in either server or front-end client;

Experience in J2EE based EMS/NMS development platforms highly desirable;

Experience with TMN framework, SNMP, Corba, XML, TL1 is desirable;

Understanding of carrier NOC environment and FCAPS requirements highly desirable;

Proficiency in JAVA, XML, C++, EJB, JSP, Java Script, Servlets;

Strong working experience in relational database, SQL and related technologies;

Key focus area will be in developing EMS client and server functionality for the HSX product line;

Must be a team player, easy to work with, hard working, and delivery-oriented.

Education

Must have minimum of B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science

M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science preferred.
