Senior Software Engineer (Device Drivers)

Objective
The engineer will implement device drivers as part of a world-class engineering team.  Candidate must be a highly motivated device driver engineer with a track record of product delivery, ideally in a start-up environment.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in the development of device drivers with a proven record, preferably with carrier-class L2/L3 WAN systems products;

Minimum 5 years developing device drivers for multi-service hardware;

Thorough understanding of one of the following:

T3/E3/T1/E1 interfaces and FDL processing.

L1/L2 interfaces (SONET, SDH, FR, ATM, POS).

Strong working experience with lab equipment (Omniber, Smartbits, Adteck)

Proficient with VxWorks, C/C++, and Tornado development environment;

Board bring up experience is highly desirable;

Must be a team player, easy to work with, hard working, and delivery-oriented.

Education

Must have minimum of B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science. M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science preferred.
