BOARD OF DIRECTORS Michael Segrest Since joining Silver Creek Ventures in 1991, Mr. Segrest has actively worked with over twenty portfolio companies at Silver Creek, helping them realize their goals of becoming successful startup companies. As a general partner for the Firm, Mr. Segrest has focused his investment activities on data communications and optical networking. Additionally, Mr. Segrest targets investment opportunities for the Firm in the telecom and data networking markets in Texas, particularly in the Dallas and Austin areas. Prior to joining Silver Creek in 1991, Mr. Segrest was an investment banker for a boutique merchant banking firm specializing in the communications industries. Mr. Segrest received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin in the ERB program (EE option) and his MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Representative investments include MetroPCS and ONI Systems. |
